چکیده
Adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) is a cellular energy sensor activated during stress that plays key role in maintaining homeostasis. This ubiquitous signaling pathway has been implicated multiple functions including mitochondrial biogenesis, redox regulation, cell growth and proliferation, autophagy inflammation. The protective of AMPK cardiovascular function the involvement dysfunctional pathogenesis disease have highlighted recent years. In this review, we summarize discuss regulation blood flow response to metabolic demand basis physiological anticontractile, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiatherogenic actions vascular system. Investigations by others us demonstrated endothelial function, homeostasis, inflammation, addition its hypoxia ischemia/reperfusion injury. pathophysiological implications with regard complications therapeutic potential activators are also discussed.

When T cells encounter foreign antigen and appropriate costimulatory signals from professional antigen-presenting cells (APCs), they initiate a coordinated program of rapid proliferation and differentiation, leading to the development of activated T cells with specific effector functions tailored toward pathogen clearance or control. One of the fundamental programs that underpin T-cell prolifer...

chapter one is devoted to a moderate discussion on preliminaries, according to our requirements. chapter two which is based on our work in (24) is devoted introducting weighted semigroups (s, w), and studying some famous function spaces on them, especially the relations between go (s, w) and other function speces are invesigated. in fact this chapter is a complement to (32). one of the main fea...
15 صفحه اولAMPK: A Bridge between Inflammation and Metabolism
Hypercholesterolemia and low-grade inflammation are both basic factors that contribute to the genesis and progression of atherosclerosis. AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) is proposed to be a key regulator of cellular and organismal metabolism. Increased evidence shows that AMPK signaling can inhibit inflammatory responses. The macrophages play a diverse array of roles in atherogenesis, such ...
متن کاملAltered Metabolism and Persistent Starvation Behaviors Caused by Reduced AMPK Function in Drosophila
Organisms must utilize multiple mechanisms to maintain energetic homeostasis in the face of limited nutrient availability. One mechanism involves activation of the heterotrimeric AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), a cell-autonomous sensor to energetic changes regulated by ATP to AMP ratios. We examined the phenotypic consequences of reduced AMPK function, both through RNAi knockdown of the ga...
متن کاملImpact of AMPK on Glucosylceramide Metabolism
The membrane glycolipid glucosylceramide (GlcCer) plays a critical role in cellular homeostasis. Its intracellular levels are thought to be tightly regulated. How cells regulate GlcCer levels remains to be clarified. AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), which is a crucial cellular energy sensor, regulates glucose and lipid metabolism to maintain energy homeostasis. Here, we investigated whether...
